Spokane International Airport 9000 W. Airport Drive (509) 455-6455
Spokane International Airport is the second largest commercial service airport in the State of Washington. The 4,800-acre facility is served by ten airlines that operate 70 daily departures providing nonstop service to 15 major destinations. The passenger carriers served nearly 3,000,000 travelers in 2003.
Spokane also enjoys airfreight service from three of the nation’s largest cargo carriers: DHL Express, FedEx and UPS. Cargo in 2003 exceeded 54,000 US tons.
As the region’s Port of Entry, the airport offers on-site US Customs inspection as well as a CAT III Instrument Landing System for low visibility conditions, Foreign-Trade Zone status, low labor and operating costs, and immediate access to the Interstate highway system. |
