Airway Heights
Airway
Heights, located six miles west of Spokane on State Highway 2, is an
integral part of the region known as West Plains. Incorporated in 1955,
City of Airway Heights is a full service community with two city parks,
a new library, a Food Bank, and a Community Center. Spokane
International Airport and Fairchild Air Force Base reside within the
City.
Cheney Located
less than 20 minutes from downtown Spokane, Cheney is situated on one
of the highest points of the big Bend Plateau at an elevation of 2,340
feet. Surrounded by pine woods and gentle rolling hills, residents of
Cheney enjoy several recreational activities and cultural events,
including the annual Cheney Rodeo. Cheney is also home to Eastern
Washington University.
Liberty Lake Located
in eastern Washington, near the Idaho border and about 20 minutes from
downtown Spokane, Liberty Lake is a family and business friendly
community. Over 6,500 people call Liberty Lake home. The picturesque
lake is surrounded by a stunning panorama of evergreens that carpet
mile after mile of mountains, hills and valleys. The city also boasts
several golf courses and is home to many of the Spokane region’s large
high-technology companies.
Medical Lake Medical
Lake is a picturesque, full-service residential community located in
the heart of the West Plains of Spokane County. Named for the healing
properties of the water, Medical Lake has a rich history as a resort
destination dating back to the late 1800’s. Recreational amenities are
still a focal point on the Medical Lake waterfront and the city boasts
more than five miles of paved trails for walking, jogging, or
bicycling. Medical lake has many churches, fraternal organizations, and
an excellent school system.
Spokane The
City of Spokane is located on the east side of Washington state 18
miles west of the Idaho state line and 110 miles south of the Canadian
border. As the largest city between Seattle and Minneapolis, Spokane
serves as the hub of the Inland Northwest, a region encompassing
Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana, Northeastern
Oregon and parts of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. Spokane is
the second largest city in the state and serves as the business,
transportation, media, medical, educational and entertainment hub of
the Inland Northwest, with over 2 million people in a 36-county area.
